Account information
Your name, email address, account details, and payout information provided when you register or use the service.
00 / Contents
These five sections explain what data is collected, how it is used, who may receive it, your rights, and how this policy is maintained.
01 / What we collect
We collect the information needed to run accounts, deliver catalogues, process payments, and improve the service.
Your name, email address, account details, and payout information provided when you register or use the service.
Audio, artwork, metadata, credits, royalty splits, release schedules, and other information needed to manage and distribute your catalogue.
Bank or e-wallet details you provide to receive royalty payouts are processed by our payout providers. Lantuns does not store complete card or account numbers; we only receive transaction status and limited administrative information needed for reconciliation.
Information about pages, features, and dashboard actions may be collected in aggregate to identify bugs and improve the product.
Newsletter email addresses are stored separately from service accounts, and you can unsubscribe through the link in every email.
02 / How we use it
Data is not used simply because it is available. Every category has a specific operational purpose.
Catalogue data is sent to the platforms you select so your music can be processed, displayed, and managed according to your release instructions.
Platform reports are matched with accounts and royalty splits so earnings can be calculated and sent to your selected payout method.
Usage data helps us identify technical failures and simplify parts of the product that are confusing.
An address registered for the newsletter is used only for the information you chose to receive.
03 / Who can see it
Some parts of the service require third parties. They receive only the information needed to perform their function.
As explained in the Terms, Lantuns may use third-party distributors, aggregators, or technology partners to deliver your Release. These partners receive only the catalogue data needed to distribute, monetise, and report on your music, and changing partners does not change how your data is otherwise handled under this policy.
Streaming and download platforms (DSPs) receive the catalogue data, forwarded directly or through a distribution partner, needed to publish, report, and pay for the use of your music.
Payout providers handle bank, e-wallet, and payout transactions under their own rules and security standards.
Hosting, analytics, technical support, and newsletter delivery may involve providers with limited access.
We do not sell data to advertisers, share it with sister brands without a clear reason, or use it to train external AI models.
04 / Your rights
You may request a copy, correction, export, or deletion of your data by contacting our team.
You may request a copy of the account, catalogue, and history data we hold. We aim to respond within 14 days unless additional verification is required.
Incorrect account details, royalty splits, metadata, or payout information can be updated through the dashboard or by contacting us.
Catalogue data and royalty splits can be exported so you can keep your own archive or move work to another service.
You may request deletion. Records that must be retained for audits, taxes, royalties, disputes, or legal obligations will be kept only for as long as necessary.
05 / Maintenance
This policy follows how the service operates. When important practices change, the date and notice will change as well.
Essential cookies are used for login, security, and preferences. More information is available on the Cookies page.
We apply reasonable technical and operational measures to limit access and prevent misuse.
Data is kept while an account is active, the service still requires it, or the law requires retention. After that, it is deleted or anonymized where possible.
The update date changes whenever this policy changes. Material changes will be communicated to active users.
Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected] or [email protected].
06 / Contact
