01 / The agreement
This section explains account eligibility, user responsibilities, and the limits of Lantuns's role.
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the service with the permission and supervision of a lawful guardian.
An account belongs to one person or legal entity (the partner). The account owner may invite team members—such as admins, finance, or editors—to access the dashboard with their own login and role. The account owner remains responsible for managing team access and keeping passwords and payment information secure.
Lantuns delivers music to platforms, operates related services such as royalty splits and release support, and pays earnings according to platform reports.
We do not automatically sign you as an artist, take ownership of masters or publishing, or bind you to a long-term exclusive agreement.
02 / Catalogue
Rights remain with their owners. Lantuns receives only the permission required to distribute your Release.
You retain all rights, title, and interest in sound recordings, compositions, artwork, artist names, metadata, and other material you submit ("Content"), unless separately agreed otherwise in writing.
By using the service, you represent and warrant that you own, control, or have obtained all rights and permissions required to submit and distribute the Content through Lantuns.
For each Release distributed through Lantuns, you grant Lantuns a limited, worldwide licence, exclusive for the distribution period, to distribute, transmit, make available, reproduce as technically necessary, monetise, manage, and administer the Release through DSPs and related platforms.
This exclusivity applies only to the digital distribution rights of that Release and does not transfer ownership of the master, copyright, composition, artist name, or other rights to Lantuns. While a Release remains active with Lantuns, you may not distribute or authorise another party to distribute the same Release to the same DSPs without Lantuns's consent.
03 / Distribution partners
To run the service, Lantuns may work with third-party distributors, aggregators, or technology partners.
Lantuns may use one or more distributors, aggregators, technology providers, DSPs, or other partners to operate the service. You grant Lantuns the right to appoint such partners and give them limited permission as needed to distribute, monetise, manage, and report on your Release. Lantuns may choose, replace, or move a Release between partners based on operational needs, region, compliance, cost, or service performance. Changing partners does not change your ownership of the Content.
When moving a Release between partners, Lantuns makes reasonable efforts to preserve the UPC, ISRC, metadata, and release date. We cannot guarantee that stream counts, playlist placements, DSP links, statistics, or other data managed by DSPs or partners will always carry over during migration.
You may request that distribution of a Release stop through the provided takedown procedure. After receiving a valid request, Lantuns processes and forwards it to the relevant distribution partner within a reasonable time. Actual removal timing from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and other platforms is determined by each partner and DSP, so it can vary, and the Release may remain visible for a while after the request is processed.
Lantuns's exclusive distribution rights over a Release end once the takedown process for that Release has been completed, except so far as still needed to finish an ongoing takedown, administer royalties from an earlier period, correct reports, handle claims or disputes, or meet legal obligations that arose before termination. After that, you are free to distribute the Release through another distributor.
Lantuns accepting a Release does not guarantee it will be accepted, permanently available, or remain live on every DSP. DSPs and distribution partners may apply their own policies, technical requirements, or compliance checks. Lantuns may refuse, delay, request changes to, suspend, or submit a takedown for a Release when needed to comply with DSP, partner, legal, or internal policy requirements.
04 / Money
The service is currently free. This section explains how royalties are calculated and what changes if a paid plan launches later.
Lantuns does not charge a subscription fee to any user until further notice. If a paid plan launches in the future, its pricing and terms will be announced and communicated to active accounts before it takes effect — never added silently to an existing account.
Platforms pay Lantuns, sometimes through one or more third-party distribution partners. Your share is calculated from Net Receipts — revenue after deductions actually incurred before or when received by Lantuns, such as distribution-partner commissions, required taxes or withholding, refunds, chargebacks, DSP corrections, and adjustments for streaming activity found to be fraudulent or manipulative. Lantuns will not deduct fees from your earnings that are not disclosed or not permitted under these terms.
Because the service is currently free, no refunds apply. If a paid plan launches later, its refund policy will be explained separately before you pay anything.
If a royalty amount appears incorrect, send the reporting period and disputed amount so it can be checked against platform and distribution-partner reports.
05 / Acceptable use
The service may not be used for rights infringement, manipulation, fraud, or illegal activity.
Do not upload music, beats, samples, covers, recordings, or other material without the permissions required.
Content that breaks the law, exploits children, promotes terrorism, hatred, or unlawful violence is not permitted.
Buying fake streams, laundering royalties, or registering another party's catalogue in your name is prohibited.
Do not attempt to access another account's data, disrupt the dashboard, scrape without permission, or overload the system.
If an account is suspended, the reason will be sent by email and you may submit evidence for review.
06 / Closing terms
This final section explains cancellation, suspension, liability limits, governing law, and changes to these terms.
You may cancel through the dashboard or by email. After cancellation, Lantuns's right to distribute your catalogue follows the takedown process and the end-of-exclusivity terms in the Distribution Partners section.
Lantuns may suspend accounts that breach these terms, particularly for rights violations, fraud, or system abuse.
To the extent permitted by law, Lantuns's liability is limited to the fees you have paid, if any, during the 12 months before the claim arose.
You are responsible for the rights in uploaded content and for third-party claims arising from that material.
These terms are governed by Indonesian law. Disputes begin with good-faith communication and may proceed to mediation or the competent courts in Jakarta.
Material changes affecting price, ownership, or user rights will be communicated to active accounts before they take effect.
